INNOVATION INSTITUTE

Building on the foundations of Discovery, Innovation focuses on peacebuilding, collaboration, innovation, and technology. Through guided conversations, participants practice active listening and meaningful self-expression.

A key component of the institute is a two-day, hands-on hackathon where participants work collaboratively to design and present social impact initiatives. The group will also have the chance to go on a short boat trip and to enjoy the beach.

Innovation expands participants’ perspectives through exposure to different global conflicts and realities. They will learn about the rich history of Cyprus and the unique reality of Nicosia, the only divided capital in Europe. Teens learn to understand conflict at multiple levels and explore constructive, empathetic responses grounded in service, solidarity, and empathy.

Through collaborative projects, group communication, and presentations, participants grow as thoughtful leaders, leaving the program with stronger relationships, deeper understanding, and the skills to engage more responsibly in their communities at home and beyond.

*Middle East Participants return home a day after the conclusion of the program
