DIOCESE OF TEXAS GRANT: A $30,000 gift for women empowerment

In December, JPB received a generous leadership $30,000 grant from the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. These much appreciated funds will fuel Palestinian women’s civic and economic empowerment at a pivotal time in the Holy Lands. “Women in their twenties are the most under-resourced and under-served segment of the Palestinian population. Accelerating the emergence of strong, well-networked, business-savvy, and civically active women will advance the health, prosperity, and peace of Palestinian society,” responded Fr. Nicholas to the news of the grant. “JPB is ever grateful to the Diocese of Texas and Bishop Andy Doyle for their vision and extraordinary support of JPB’s ministry of interfaith reconciliation in the Holy Lands.”
